Boeing, Winged but Still Flying

Y'all have likely heard about the recent news pertaining to Boeing and their new 737 max airplanes with two separate planes going down in the recent history. With countries around the globe grounding all Boeing 787 Max planes as well as companies like Southwest Airlines are following closely behind. With these controversial times coming over Boeing it will be interesting to see how they handle this situation and the impact it will have on the company.

With the incidents happening just days ago the president of Boeing has already issued a statement about their company morals what they hold near and dear to their hearts and how they do and are taking these incidents very seriously. They have pledged to get to the bottom of what happened and are working hard with experts on the ground trying to fix the issues and ensure that these issues do not happen again. Another promise made was that Boeing was/ is doing whatever they can do to quickly create new software for their 737 Max planes that fixes any and all bugs that were present in the previous software.

Another concern for Boeing with these crashes and groundings happening are how these events will effect the stock of the company. Boeing is currently sitting at $372.28 and is falling. Stock is currently down almost seventy dollars from its six month peak and is not showing signs of slowing down.

Even with the hard times Boeing is going through it think they will be just fine, I believe that Boeing really is doing all they can do to try and make up for what has happened. I know that Boeing will rebound from this situation as they are one of the if not the largest plane manufacturer in the world. Boeing did take a big hit with what happened and they are far from out of the woods but they're still flying and will bounce back.

  1. I agree with you, I think Boeing will be able to come back from this situation. I believe that they will continue to work on fixing the problems with their 737 max airplanes. Boeing is such a big supplier of airplanes and they have been around for a while. Right now this is bad press for Boeing, but I believe in the long run they will be able to respond accordingly and put the situation behind them.
